Home Passport

One link that carries the whole house to the next owner

The Home Passport is a scoped summary of everything you’ve documented — blueprints and paint colors, contractors, warranties, manuals, HVAC history, and the codes — generated as a link you hand to your buyer at closing, with those codes rotating the moment the house changes hands.

Included on Premium and Pro · You choose what the link shows

What’s Inside

Everything a new owner spends a year figuring out

A Passport is not a PDF summary. It’s the live record, scoped down to what you choose to share.

Blueprints & Finishes

The floor layout, plus the paint, flooring, trim, and fixtures in every room.

Appliances & Warranties

Every unit with its model, serial, installed date, and remaining coverage.

Manuals & Documents

Manuals, receipts, permits, and policies, filed where the buyer can find them.

Maintenance History

What was serviced and when — HVAC included — instead of a verbal summary.

Contractors

The trades who already know the house, with the projects they worked on.

Codes & Credentials

Gate, alarm, and Wi-Fi details from the vault — rotated the moment you transfer.

The Handoff

Three steps, all of them yours to trigger

Transfer is manual on purpose. You generate the link, you scope it, and you send it.

  1. Build the record

Document rooms, appliances, documents, and maintenance as you go. The Passport is generated from what’s already there.

  2. Choose what it shows

Generate a link and scope it. Share the whole picture or leave sections out — the choice is per Passport, not all-or-nothing.

  3. Hand it over

Send the link to your buyer at closing and rotate the codes. You decide when it happens — nothing fires on its own.

Domicile has no integration with your closing, your title company, or your MLS. The Passport goes out when you send it.

Questions

Before you hand it over

Does the Passport transfer automatically at closing?

No, and that is deliberate. You generate the link and send it when you are ready. Nothing in Domicile watches your closing or hands the record over on its own.

Can I control what the buyer sees?

Yes. A Passport link is scoped, so you choose which parts of the record it exposes before you share it.

What happens to my gate and alarm codes?

Codes rotate on transfer, so the values the previous owner knew stop being the values in the record. Secrets live in a vault encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, revealing one requires a fresh identity check, and every reveal is written to an audit log.

Is the vault end-to-end encrypted?

It is not. Your secrets are encrypted at rest and Domicile holds the key, which is what lets us restore your access if you lose a device. We would rather say that plainly than imply protection we do not provide.

Which plans include the Home Passport?

Premium at $9/mo and Pro at $24/mo. The Free plan covers one home with rooms, documents, maintenance, and the encrypted vault, and you can upgrade whenever a Passport is the thing you need.

Do I have to be selling to use it?

No. Plenty of owners generate a Passport for a property manager, a contractor running a large project, or simply for their own records.

Build the Passport before you need it
